The Vaughns are, hands down, the most enjoyable family to photograph. I have photographic proof! How fun are these photos?! I met them at Prairie Creek Park in Richardson on a brisk…er…75 degree morning. It wouldn’t be Christmas time in Texas otherwise! Here are just a few from our shoot that make me smile!

There’s a new man in town…my son, Samuel Andrew. I can’t begin to even express how much I love this little guy from the moment he arrived. He was born July 23, 2012 which makes him 11 weeks today! He is my whole world, my muse, my everything. I look forward to watching him grow up and blogging more about him! We celebrated fall on this brisk day in Dallas by visiting the Arboretum’s pumpkin display and he posed as a Banana. Here are just a few that make me smile. . . . .

Kelly’s Bridals

Kelly’s beautiful wedding was last weekend (pictures coming soon!) and now that the dress has been revealed, it is safe to post these photos we shot a couple of months ago. I met up with Kelly at the Dallas Arboretum. It was a beautiful spring morning with the perfect amount of sunlight. All of these are shot with pure natural light! No flash! Kelly was turning heads in her stunning gown. A group of young students on a school field trip were so taken back that they told her that she looked like she could be a queen. You could, Kelly! I spent Saturday afternoon with Miss Savannah Ray, who paid homage to Audrey Hepburn circa Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and her big Brother Jett who serenaded us with Puff the Magic Dragon on the drums. Ashley and Phillip got engaged last October. I met this wildy fun couple at the Deep Ellum DART rail station. Typically, the first few minutes of photo sessions are spent warming up my subjects to the camera, but this couple didn’t need the warm up time! Their chemistry, love of life and each other is very real and it makes me love this job by documenting the moments. Here are just a few from our session that make me smile ……………….

It was such a joy to be the “fly on the wall” at the funnest wedding this year! The new Mr. and Mrs. Jackson picked Event 1013 in downtown Plano to exchange vows and celebrate with their friends and family.
